I find it difficult to say thank you. No, I don’t have a speech impediment, but I do have a problem being courteous. If someone does a favor for me then fine I can let them know how appreciative I am of it, but it’s when major things are done for me, like when somebody loaned me a large amount of money, or when somebody watched my kids because I had to take an emergency trip, that’s when I find it difficult to show my appreciation. Thankfully, the store has plenty of cards to choose from. I know many people don’t like the prescribed sentiments on these cards, but I find them invaluable. When I know I should show recognition for services rendered, then I can run up to the store and find the appropriate card. After that, all it takes is a quick signature and a stamp, and the recognition is on its way.
